Expertise

  • Large-scale heat storage
  • Sustainable heat supply
  • Model-based energy system analysis

Thomas Müller works at HIC CONSULTING as an engineer focusing on sustainable heat supply, large-scale heat storage and model-based energy system analysis. While studying for his master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Supply at RWTH Aachen University, he worked as a student trainee at Hamburg Institut and wrote his master’s thesis on the integration of large-scale heat storage systems into district heating networks in cooperation with us. Today, he applies this knowledge to projects involving the analysis, optimisation and further development of sustainable heating systems – both in large-scale interdisciplinary research projects and alongside our clients on specific implementation-oriented issues, such as feasibility and subsidy management.
