Jannika Eileen Maaß-Schoon is a fully qualified lawyer with an LL.M. in European Law from the University of Edinburgh. At HIC CONSULTING, her professional focus is on energy, environmental and administrative law issues, with a particular focus on district heating, heat price regulation and climate-neutral heating technologies. In consulting and research projects, she supports our clients and customers in the legal assessment and design of energy policy measures. To this end, she prepares expert opinions, drafts municipal statutes and legislative regulations, prepares approval procedures for innovative heating technologies and analyses relevant national and European legal frameworks.

In addition, Jannika Eileen Maaß-Schoon develops proposals for the further development of the legal framework in order to promote the legally secure and future-oriented implementation of the energy transition.
