As a Senior Engineer, Frederic Schlotfeldt supports our clients on their journey towards a future-proof and climate-friendly heat supply. His work focuses on feasibility studies and transformation plans for heating networks (including those based on BEW standards) as well as integrated neighbourhood energy concepts. He has also led several municipal heating planning projects as project manager, including in cities such as Potsdam, Iserlohn and Oer-Erkenschwick, and provides support for municipal climate protection strategies and greenhouse gas inventories.
An engineer with a Master of Science in Renewable Energy, he combines detailed technical knowledge with a strategic outlook and develops action plans and transformation pathways geared towards implementation, based on potential and scenario analyses. Methodologically, he also brings experience in the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and in hydraulic network calculations. His strengths include the target-group-oriented presentation and communication of technical findings.
