Kristina Schumacher’s work focuses on climate-neutral district heating, energy systems and sustainable heating concepts. With a master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Management, she brings a sound technical understanding to projects dealing with large-scale heat storage and the transformation of heating networks. Before joining HIC CONSULTING (formerly Hamburg Institut), she gained practical experience at our Danish cooperation partner PlanEnergi and in various research projects in which she was involved as a research assistant. As a project manager, she supports several municipal utilities in issues such as the integration of electrolysers and potential analyses for undergroud heat storage.
